This traditional Swiss-style single-family home is located right next to the Eichholz recreation area in Wabern and has been carefully refurbished to meet today's space and living requirements.

The north facade has been opened up over two floors and fitted with a large, floor-to-ceiling window that floods the interior with daylight and creates a strong visual and spatial connection to the outside. The lower apartment extends over two levels and isconnected by a custom-made wooden and metal staircase that leads along the window front down to the garden level.

In the upper apartment, the attic has been completely converted. The distinctive shape of the original hipped roof has been purposely retained and made visible in the interior, giving the new living spaces a strong spatial identity.
